Second Wind

Mouri Ran is now Himitsu Rin, second grader and a member of the Terminally short. Time to start a new life, learn how to cope, grow up all over again-- beside Conan, which was sort of the idea anyway. Sort of tough situation, isn't it? Now add in a missing kid, drug deals, a rather peculiar janitor with a talent for disguises and magic tricks... and a possible haunting... and you have a very, very difficult and dangerous situation.....

1: Truths And Consequences	The first day of the rest of Himitsu Rin's life. Hey, would YOU want to have to explain this sort of thing to her mom and dad? I didn't think so. Conan didn't want to either.....
2: Small Changes	Shopping with Rin and Eri, the beginnings of the mystery, and the Detective Boys (and girl) discover that Conan has a Girlfriend.
3: Additions And Subtractions	Rin's first (well, okay, second) foray into the world of Grade School; school lunches, discussions of karate, Eri's horrifying cooking. Memories of the trip to the hot springs....<sweatdrop>
4: Acceptable Losses	Sonoko Knows All (eeeeeeep!); gold coins and dinner. Chats in a darkened room, chats with Mouri. The plot thickens.
5: Show And Tell	Frustrated Conan, notes in class; surveillance, skateboards and Sonoko; peculiar dreamscapes with even more peculiar weather. Things begin to become a little frightening.....
6: Cold Comfort	Styrofoam fights, computers and karate lessons. The story takes a serious turn as Conan finds Toshiro at last-- but not like he hoped. Music provided by Queen and Madonna..... and at last, Edogawa Conan faces the villain of the story-- and ends up trapped in a place he does not wish to be.
7: Dangerous Playgrounds	Ai returns-- confrontation time between her and Rin! And Conan is STILL trapped; back to the dreamscape, where the two of him (yeah, both Conan AND Shinichi) plot their escape..... weirdness.
8: Dark Places	More dreamscape, lots more; Conan and Shinich explain the Facts of Life (errr, well, Death, actually) to Toshiro. Rin & company plan their attack. Things get even weirder.... and a lot more desperate; the clock is ticking.
9: Hearts And Other Weapons	Hei-san the Janitor, Rin and the Detective Boys (and Girl) and Mouri and Eri all charge to Conan's rescue! Will they get there in time? Also, the mechanics of being a ghost are explored, and Shinichi goes on a field trip. I did say it was getting weird, right?
10: Hard Lessons	Gunfire and chase-scenes through the Elementary School; Hei-san the Janitor (uhhh, well, by now YOU know who he really is, don't you) comes through-- as does Mouri-san. Retribution and justice.
11: Endings And Beginnings	The Grand Finale. Explanations, and a little chat with Hei-san in a darkened hospital room; a farewell to Toshiro (and a small crossover scene with Yami No Matsuei as well!); life goes on.....
